The most dangerous band in the world bring their act to the MTV Movie Awards and deliver one of the most memorable performances in the history of the show. t.A.T.u was selling records worldwide and were set on conquering America.

Agony

When David signed the artist Linda and brought her back to the top of the charts, the visually striking video for the song "Agony" became a massive success on MTV.

God Exists

This is the first video from Detsl's reggae/hip-hop masterpiece, Le Truk, for the song "God Exists."

Rudolf Schenker in Moscow

Russian music fans love the German band Scorpions and their global hit "Wind Of Change." When the band toured Russia in 2014, lead guitarist Rudolf Schenker participated in a Gibson forum on guitars and technology in Moscow. An invited audience heard Rudolph talk about the perestroika-inspired song and what it was like to meet President Gorbachev in the Kremlin. After his talk, Rudolf jumped up, grabbed his Flying V guitar and started jamming. It was a triumphant evening and a great start to Gibson's presence in Moscow. More details in our book!

In The Office

When Russian television did a feature on dance music in Russia, they filmed in our Moscow office. I explained that there could not be a successful market for dance music in Russia until they solved their country's problem with music piracy.

Investigative Report

In a 2004 investigative report on Russian TV, David revealed that pirates had counterfeited U2's new single, "Electrical Storm," before the record company had released it. The Russian mafia has connections everywhere in the music industry.
